Anytime I walk into a company to assist them with their sales process, I always start with these three tips:
- Make more calls.
- The biggest mistake people make is not actually making enough calls. Remember you can’t spend money tomorrow that you didn’t earn today. Think about the money, when your lady wants that new diamond and you don’t have any, you will wish you made that call.
- Do not sell during the cold call.
- Be sure to avoid this at all costs – sell the appointment and leave the real selling for later.
- Ensure you are talking to the decision maker.
- Make sure you book the appointment with the right person, otherwise you are wasting valuable time and money.
